The practice was established in 1994 and currently has two part-time, fully-qualified podiatrists working alongside Elizabeth Ashcroft. All three colleagues are members of the The Royal College of Podiatry and are registered with the The Health and Care Professions Council.
About
Elizabeth Ashcroft MChS BSc Podiatry, HCPC registration number CH12040. Elizabeth graduated with a distinction from the Podiatry degree course at New College Durham in 1993. She worked within the NHS part-time at the Freeman Hospital (1993-98), and at South Tyneside until taking over the practice at Sutton Street in 1994.
For sixteen years she also did NHS sessions at Claypath Medical Practice, covering diabetic clinics, general podiatry and nail surgery.
Michelle Bettany MChS BSc Podiatry, HCPC registration number CH15103. Michelle graduated from the Podiatry degree course at New College Durham in 2001, then started her own business doing domicilliary visits (2001-2005). She also worked part-time at Ashcroft and Associates in from 2002 to 2005, then returned after a break to start her family.
Angela McMahon HCPC registration number CH34994. Angela graduated in 2018 and has worked doing domicilliary work and at this clinic since then.
